How to Apply Driving Licence Online
Friends, if you do not have any DL then do not worry because you can get your DL made very easily, for this you have to go to your nearest www.parivahan.gov.in or transport office and by going there you can get DL made for yourself. and it may cost you from Rs.3000 to Rs.4000.
But first you will be given a learning DL for 6 months then after that when you prove good in driving then you will be given main DL but before that you have to show the driving to the authorities and if you are not able to drive then you will again will be given a few weeks time. Follow the steps given below to get Driving License online:-
- First of all you have to go to the official website of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/sarathiservice/stateSelection.do
- Now its official website will open in front of you and you will see many options
- Now on the home page of the website you will see an option of “Driving License” on the top left side
- When you click in it then you will see the option of apply online, you have to click on it.
- Now you will come across its criteria and eligibility, you will have to read it carefully.
- After that you have to click on the next button
- Then as soon as you click on the next button you will be asked which type of license you want to apply for Learner’s License, Foreign DL or Defense License and you have to click on the type of license you want to apply.
- Now you will be redirected to a new page
- Now the Learner’s License Number/Foreign DL Number/Defence License Number will be asked for whichever option you have selected. You have to enter it if you are applying for a new license then you will not need to enter this number
- Now you have to enter your date of birth as we have shown you, in the same way you have to enter your date of birth DDMMYYYY
- Now after filling this information, click on the next or ok button
- Now a new page will appear in front of you, in which you will be asked your name, your age, your address and other important things, you will have to fill all these information correctly.
- When you click on all the details, you will be asked to upload all the required documents like address proof, age proof and identity proof.
- After this you will be asked to upload your passport size photo and your signature and upload it but keep in mind that you can upload it only after scanning it.
- And now you have uploaded all the above asked information correctly then you will be asked to select the date and day for your DL appointment as you will select the date then only you will be able to reach there on that date and call you you will also be called on the same day.
- Once you have made the payment for submission of your Driving License Application Form, your application will be successfully forwarded to the RTO.
- On the day of your appointment, make sure you arrive a few minutes early and take your test.
