Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the “PM Scholarship Scholarship Scheme” for outstanding students in the country. This scheme launched by the Prime Minister is a master Scheme. Under this scheme, students in the country will be awarded scholarships for professional courses.

PM Modi Scholarship 2023

This scholarship amount is awarded to students who are accepted into the tenth and twelfth grades. The main objective of the PMSS Scholarship Scheme is to encourage merit students for further studies. The deadline to apply for the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme is October 15, 2023.

This scholarship is restricted to OBC, Nomadic, and semi-Nomadic tribes, DNT. The exact eligibility requirements are outlined in the next section. Students in 9th grade and those in 11th grade are awarded scholarships at two different levels. This scholarship program is granted only to Indian students. by the specific state/union territory to which the applicant belongs, i.e., where she/he resides.

PM Scholarship for 12th pass students 2023 is introduced to help dependent wards and widows of CARPF & Assam Rifles in their professional and technical education. Our Honorable Prime Minister has announced various schemes and scholarships that come under PM scholarships for the welfare of the Indian students and helping in the development of the society. Various schemes that come under the PM scholarship 2022-23 are:

• PM Scholarship for 10th passed out students
• PM Scholarship for PhD
• Scholarship Scheme by PM for 12th pass students.
• PM Scholarship for engineering students

Har Ghar Tiranga Scheme

PM Modi Scholarship Eligibility:

• Students who have gotten admission are only eligible to apply for PMSS 18 Scholarship Scheme
• Individuals who have taken admitted in the 2022 academic session in a degree program in BE, B.Tech, BDS, MBBS, B. Ed, BBA, BCA, B. Pharma, etc. Duly recognized by the respective Government regulatory bodies, such as All India Council for Technical Education, Medical Council of India, UGC, etc. may apply.

Students who are Dependent on Wards, Widows of Ex-Servicemen & Ex-Coast Guard personnel who died in harness or disabled due to causes attributable to military service/coast guard service, irrespective of the rank may also apply for PM Narendra Modi Scholarship.

Documents Required

The following documents are required to submit with the application form in this scholarship 2022:-

• Serving Certificate (in case of serving personnel) issued by HOO
• Certificate issued by the concerned state government indicating that the State Police personnel was killed in Naxal /Terror attacks
• Certificate of Minimum Educational Qualification (MEQ) as applicable – Class 12th mark sheet, Graduation mark sheet (for all years) or diploma mark sheets (for all semesters)
• PPO/Discharge Certificate/Book (Mandatory for Category A to F)
• Death Certificate (Applicable for deceased personnel)
• Disability Certificate (Applicable for disabled personnel)
• Certificate of Gallantry Award (Applicable for Gallantry Award winners)
