This film currently has 241K interest rate on Bookmyshow and it can even touch to 500K interest rate during the time of its release.As per current update, PVR Theatre chain have sold atleast 10K ticket from Friday till Sunday as soon as the online windows open. Brahmastra promotional event happened on September 2 in Hyderabad, where it was confirmed by the makers that this film is being releasing in 5000 plus screens in India and 3000 plus screens in overseas. This is by far the widest release of an Indian film post-pandemic, especially outside India.

Since Brahmastra releases around the same time, you can now watch the film at just Rs 75. National Cinema Day, September 16, aims at celebrating the successful reopening of cinemas and is a ‘thank you’ to moviegoers. National Cinema Day is also an invitation to the cinephiles who haven’t made it back to movie theatres yet after the pandemic.

Brahmastra is a superhero drama that revolves around a simpleton who shares a special bond with fire. It features Alia Bhatt as the leading lady and marks her first collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor. The cast includes Nagarjun, Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan. It is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in the movie, and reportedly, so does Deepika Padukone. Brahmastra is slated to open in theatres on September 9.

The storyline of Brahmastra follows Shiva, a DJ, who learns about his strange connection with the element of fire. He also holds the power to awaken the Brahmstra, a supernatural weapon that is said to be able to destroy the universe, capable of destroying creation and vanquishing all beings. On the other hand, Junoon, the queen of dark forces is also on a quest to get hold of the Brahmstra.

The internet is divided at the moment– to watch or not to watch Brahmāstra. Well, overseas film critic and analyst Umair Sandhu has now shared his opinion on the film. In his social media post, he shared: “On the whole, #brahmastra lacks soul. At the box-office, the publicity blitzkrieg might ensure good returns in its opening weekend, but the cracks should start appearing sooner than expected, since the film fails to keep you hooked. Its fall is imminent!” He went on to add that the film is high on VFX and some scenes are well implemented whereas the songs are terrific.
