According to the notification, a total of 300 vacancies will be recruited for Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist). The selection of candidates will be based on a three-tiered process consisting of LIC AAO preliminary and mains exam followed by an interview. The preliminary exam is scheduled to be held between Feb 17 – Feb 20, 2023 at various locations. Those who will qualify for the mains will be able to appear in the exam tentatively scheduled for March 18, 2023.

- Selection of Assistant Administrative Officers will be done through a three-tiered process and subsequent Prerecruitment Medical examination.
LIC AAO Age Limit
The age of the candidate must not be less than 21 years and must not exceed 30 years. The minimum age of a candidate shall be 21 years (completed) as on 01.01.2023. Basic pay of Rs. 53600/- per month in the scale of Rs. 53600- 2645(14) –90630– 2865(4) –102090 and other admissible allowances as per rules. Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale inclusive of House Rent

LIC AAO Prelims Exam Pattern 2023
- The exam will be conducted online and the duration will be 1 hour or 60 minutes (20 minutes for each section).
- There are 3 sections, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. Each question is given 1 mark.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks in the prelims exam.
- LIC AAO Prelims is qualifying in nature.
