What is Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana?
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was launched on June 25, 2015, with an aim to provide housing for all in the urban areas by the year 2023. The mission provides central assistance to the implementing agencies through the Central Nodal Agencies and States and Union Territories for providing houses for all the eligible families/beneficiaries.
