Shamshera has sold more than 22,000 tickets across all multiplexes for the opening day.Ranbir Kapoor is set to return to the big screen after four years with the upcoming film Shamshera. He is playing a larger-than-life quintessential Hindi film hero with the actioner. In the Karan Malhotra directorial, he is paired alongside Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. It is such a great role, it is such an interesting, juicy part for an actor to play. Then, I really had to convince Adi and Karan. I think after that Karan did a couple of look tests and that’s when he got convinced also.” Apart from Ranbir, this film also features Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles.

Shamshera box office advance booking: Shamshera movie starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor has received a decent reaction response in the advance booking sales.
“The advance booking of #Shamshera has picked up very strongly which indicates very good opening at the Indian BoxOffice,” film analyst Raj Bansal tweeted.
It is estimated that Shamshera, set to be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, will be viewed in over 3,500 screens in India with another 1,000 coming from the overseas markets. A factor working in its favour is the clear one week run till the next film, Ek Villain is released.
