Only Graduation can apply for this scheme. On Monday, the Chief Minister said that it has already been approved in the cabinet meeting. Every year 6,000 student will be taken as interns.
The government will provide training on various government schemes to those people who will be taken as interns. During the training, the trainees will get an internship of Rs.5,000. Later they will get jobs in different departments.

WB Student Internship Scheme 2023- Eligibility
Only those can apply who have done graduation and those who have done graduation with 80% marks. If someone has passed ITI or Polytechnic then he can also apply for this scheme. However the age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years. Graduation will be able to take the same training as those boys and girls who have passed graduation. However, in that case they will have to bring a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the specified institution.

Those who have completed their studies at Graduation level and have 60% marks or more in the exam are eligible for ‘Student Internship Scheme 2023 ‘ which means they can apply. Also Polytechnic, ITI and their equivalent degree can be applied.
