The student may only apply for Medhabruti in their first year of the course, and their institution must be recognized by BSE, Odisha/CBSE/ICSE/equivalent boards and offer regular +2 courses in the 10+2 pattern.
Senior Merit Scholarship (Medhabruti)For pursuing a Medhabruti post matric scholarship odisha, the student should meet certain eligibility criteria. For undergraduate courses, the student must be enrolled in a recognized institution or university with a three-year course duration. The annual family income of the student should not exceed INR 6 Lakh per annum. The student should have passed the +2 examination from CHSE, Odisha, or any equivalent examination from an institution recognized by CBSE/ICSE and must have scored at least 60% marks. The student should apply for the scholarship only in the first year of joining the course.
Post Graduate Merit Scholarship (Medhabruti)For postgraduate courses, the student must be pursuing a degree from a recognized institution or university, and the annual family income should not exceed INR 6 Lakh per annum. The student should have scored at least 60% marks in their graduate degree. The application for the scholarship should be made only in the first year of joining the course.
Technical and Professional Merit (Medhabruti)The eligibility criteria for medhabruti include a maximum annual family income of INR 6 Lakh, and the applicant must apply in the first year of the course. The applicant must be pursuing a technical or professional undergraduate degree, or an integrated course recognized by government regulatory bodies such as AICTE, MCI, and DCI. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha and pursuing post-matriculation studies in any of the courses listed under Group I, II, III, and IV. The applicant must be enrolled in a government or private institution.
PRERANA- Post-Matric Scholarship for EBCThe applicant’s annual family income should not exceed INR 1 Lakh. A minimum of 50% marks in the previous examination is required. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha and pursuing post-matriculation studies in any of the courses listed under Group I, II, III, and IV. Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Senapati ScholarshipTo be eligible for this opportunity, the applicant must meet the following requirements: being a resident of Odisha state, having qualified either their Higher Secondary Examination or their graduation degree examinations in B.A. (Arts) with Odia as Hons./Major, scoring at least 90% marks in Odia paper in their Higher Secondary Examination, and scoring at least 80% marks in their degree examination.

The applicant must have represented the districts of Odisha, Odisha state, and its universities in sports and games.
