The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the CUET PG 2025 registration in online mode. Students who are willing to appear for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) examination can fill the application form from exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG.
Recently, the CUET PG 2025 exam duration has been shortened from 105 minutes to 90 minutes and the applicants now will have to attempt all 75 questions in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. While issuing the CUET PG answer key and announcing the opening of answer key objection window, NTA said: “Challenges accepted against any answer key will be applicable to all candidates who would have attempted the corresponding question. Candidates are advised to note that in bi-lingual question papers, in case of any discrepancy in the translation, the English version shall prevail except in language test papers.
CUET PG Marking Scheme 2025
The CUET PG 2023 will be administered online in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and will be for a duration of 120 minutes (2 hours). The exam paper will be divided into two portions of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering various PG course concepts. The first portion will consist of 25 questions on language comprehension and verbal skills, and the second section will consist of 75 questions about domain-specific knowledge evaluation of the candidate’s chosen topic.
For every right response, candidates get four marks (+4), while each wrong response will result in the deduction of one mark (-1). It is essential to understand that questions that remain unanswered will not receive any negative marking. The exam format was created to assess candidates’ knowledge, understanding, and application abilities, and candidates must prepare appropriately in order to perform well on the exam.

- Correct answer will carry +4
- Incorrect answer -1
- No marks for unanswered, unattempted questions
- Multiple correct options will be considered for only those who attempted the same and marked any one of the correct options
- Full marks for questions dropped due to technical errors

What After CUET PG Result 2025?
CUET PG 2025 registration has started from 2nd January 2025 onwards. Candidates who wish to pursue Master’s degree can apply online for the CUET PG exam up to 1st February 2025 which is the last date for registration. For successful CUET PG registration, candidates are required to visit the official website and create a registered account by providing details such as their name, parent’s names, email ID, mobile number, and photo ID proof.
