The double bedroom houses built under Chief Minister K Chandrasekar Rao’s vision will be distributed to 11,700 individuals across the 24 constituencies under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC) limits on September 2, 2023.
All preparations for the distribution of Dignity double bedroom houses to 11,700 people in 24 constituencies were completed. State Ministers, Mayor, and Deputy Speaker would distribute double bedroom residences to 11,700 people in their respective constituencies via the Dignity Colony lottery on September 2, 2023.
Minister KTR would distribute 1,700 houses to beneficiaries in Gajula Ramaram, Bahadurpally, and D-Pochampally in Quthbullapur constituency, with 144 houses in Gajularamaram and 356 in Bahadurpally distributed to 500 people in Quthbullapur.
28,183 people have applied for 1,656 double-bedroom houses built in three towns of Nalgonda, Devarakonda and Miryalaguda in the Nalgonda district. According to officials, 9,654 applicants were found to be eligible to avail of the scheme while the remaining 18,529 applications were rejected.
In Nalgonda, 552 out of 560 sanctioned double-bedroom houses have already been completed and the officials have received 13,610 applications, of which 8,664 were rejected due to various reasons. In Miryalaguda, 12,600 applications were received for 560 houses, and 8,417 were rejected. In Devarakonda, 560 homes were sanctioned and 544 were completed. A total of 1,973 people have applied for these houses and 1,448 applications were rejected.

- For housing sites within 2 kilometers of the Mandal headquarters, G.O.Ms. 1493 dt1.12.2007, Revenue (Asst. POT) Dept. may be used.
- The distribution of apartments in G+ houses must be done using lots. Physically challenged families (PHCs) must be assigned to the ground floor.

- Each house will include two bedrooms, a hall, a kitchen, and two bathrooms with combined toilets, with a plinth area of 560 square feet (in Rural it includes the area of the staircase and in Urban, it includes the staircase & common area).
