- The family income of the students should not go above at least one lakh.
- The candidate should pass the qualifying examination in the first attempt.
- Hindi subject is compulsory to apply for the DCE Scholarship.
- You have studied with another subject and if you change your subject in the future, you will not be eligible for the scholarship.
- Students who are already availing of other scholarships will not be eligible for the scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria Of Kerala DCE Scholarship 2023
To apply for the scholarship the applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria:-
- A first-year student must be:
- i) Plus Two / UG / PG / Ph.D. courses of Higher Secondary School / College / Institute / University, which is either a Government / Aided / Recognized Unaided Institution.
- either
- ii) Class XI/Technical/Vocational Courses from ITI/ITC Centers affiliated to NCVT.
- either
- iii) courses, other than those listed under Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme.
- Must belong to a minority community (Muslim/Christian/Buddhist/Sikh/Parsi or Parsi).
- Should have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous Board/University examination.
- The annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs.
- Should not avail of any other scholarship or stipend.
