This edition of the Auto Expo will kick off with press days on January 11-12 followed by general public days from January 13-18, 2023. Auto Expo 2023 will see a much larger participation of newer startup players, specially in the electric vehicles segment.According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), this year’s auto expo will have a special focus on ethanol power trains for vehicles with a separate pavilion showcasing technological developments in the overall Ethanol value chain.
The event will see participation from over 114 industry stakeholders. As per reports, the event may witness about 48 new launches from vehicle manufacturers.All major brands have outlined their plans to showcase their latest cars and advanced technologies at the event. Maruti Suzuki has announced that its will pavillion will offer Metaverse-like innovative virtual zone to offer immersive experience of all product showcases and various experiential zones. This will include an EXPOVerse Lobby, Adventure Zone, Technology Zone, Studio Zone, Launch Zone, Entertainment Zone and Sustainability Zone.

Auto Expo 2023 Registration New Updated
It might just be a concept, and the production version could look very different, but there’s no doubt that the Maruti Suzuki eVX is possibly the most significant car shown at Auto Expo 2023. The eVX previews a grounds-up, born-electric skateboard, which will be shared by a consortium of Japanese brands like Toyota, Subaru, Mazda, Daihatsu and, of course, Suzuki, to build their own products for global markets. Hence, Maruti Suzuki’s first EV will be no ICE conversion, but will be built on a dedicated all-electric platform that will spawn a new range of EVs for India, Europe and Japan.
Also of significance is that the eVX isn’t a compact car, as you’d expect from the master compact carmaker. It is a 4.3 metre-long SUV with a generous wheelbase that will house a state-of-the-art 60kWh blade cell battery pack. The concept looks great, and fingers crossed Maruti Suzuki doesn’t botch up the styling.

The auto manufacturers will showcase an array of 16 vehicles at Auto Expo 2023. This will include an Electric Concept SUV and two all-new SUVs along with customized range of existing products like Grand Vitara, XL6, Ciaz, Ertiga, Brezza, Baleno, and Swift among others
