14 october 2023 grahan time in india:Many people believe there is a mystical reason behind Surya Grahan, which is essentially another name for a solar eclipse. It occurs when the moon moves between the trajectories of Earth and the Sun.During a Surya Grahan or solar eclipse, the Moon covers the Sun’s large yellow orb, creating a ‘Ring of Fire’ effect around the Sun, visible from certain locations. October is considered a sacred month in many calendars, and within a span of two weeks, both solar and lunar eclipses will occur.

This article will discuss when, where, why, and how to watch the solar eclipse this year. There will be four solar eclipses in October 2023, with the second Surya Grahan taking place on October 14, 2023. This eclipse is called the “Ring of Fire” because, during this event, the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun when the Earth-Sun distance is greater than average, making the Sun appear smaller.

Solar eclipse October 2023

October 2023 will witness two celestial events: a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse. A solar eclipse, also known as Surya Grahan, is one of the most significant celestial events. A solar eclipse is a phenomenon in which Sun is blocked by Moon, while Earth’s shadow obscures Moon in a lunar eclipse.

A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon eclipses the Sun. This means that the Moon, as it orbits Earth, comes in between Sun and Earth, thereby blocking Sun and preventing sunlight from reaching us. There are four types of solar eclipses– partial solar eclipse, annular solar eclipse, total solar eclipse, and hybrid solar eclipse.
