Till last year, CUET was known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) which has been renamed Central University Entrance Test or CUET by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The exam is being conducted over a window of 10 days between July 15 and August 20, in a computer-based mode (CBT) for a duration of two hours. The exam will be divided into three parts which will carry objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The medium of the question paper will be English and the languages chosen by candidates. Each question will carry one mark and for each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

Candidates must note that the CUET (erstwhile CUCET) will have Section 1A, Section 1B, general test and domain-specific subjects. Section 1A, which is compulsory, is in 13 languages and candidates are given the option to choose the language of their choice. The options are English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. Section 1B is optional and for students who want to opt for another language apart from the ones that are a part of Section 1A. Some of the languages on offer are French, Arabic, German, etc.

The Chairman has Tweeted that CUET UG Results 2023 declared announcement will be made by September 15, 2023 on the official website – 

Taking to Twitter, UGC Chairman announced that National Testing Agency, NTA will be releasing the CUET UG Results by September 15, 2023. Further, the Chairman even asked all Universities to keep their UG admission portals ready as it would be needed very soon.

Step 2-Tap on the ‘CUET UG 2023 Provisional Answer Key Download’ link displayed on the homepage.

Step 3- Fill in login credentials such as roll number, date of birth, etc, and press submit on the login page.

Step 4-The CUET UG Answer Key 2023 will show on the screen.

Step 5-Download and take a printout of your CUET UG answer key for further use and references.

The computer-based test (CBT) method for the CUET admission test was used from July 15 to August 30 and consisted of two sessions. After the objection period for the provisional answer key has expired, the CUET 2023 final answer key will be made available and results will be out.
